Senior Customer Success Manager, CTV & Video

About the Role:

PubMatic is hiring a Senior Customer Success Manager, CTV and Video to join our growing team in NYC.​

Customer Success Managers (CSMs) are the primary owners of PubMatic’s global publisher base. As a Senior CSM, you will act as a strategic partner to premium CTV and video publishers. Helping them grow their digital advertising business through programmatic monetization. This role sits at the intersection of account management, revenue strategy, and programmatic consulting.

You will be responsible for developing long-term publisher relationships, driving programmatic revenue growth, and translating performance data into actionable strategies. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will own quarterly revenue targets and be responsible for delivering against publisher expectations while protecting their brand and user experience. Through regular business reviews, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, you will serve as a trusted advisor and programmatic specialist to your publishers.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and drive programmatic revenue across assigned publisher portfolio, including proactive identification of monetization opportunities and risks
  • Analyze revenue performance across DSPs, Deal Types (PG, PMP, Open Exchange), and formats to inform optimization strategies
  • Lead yield optimization conversations across data-driven insights (floors, demand density, bid rates, etc).
  • Partner with internal buyer development and DSP teams to activate demand, troubleshoot deal performance, and scale spend across key buyers
  • Support setup, execution, and optimization of programmatic deals including PG, PMP, and SPO initiatives
  • Maintain strong operational discipline through consistent use of internal tools (Call reports, account planning, pipeline tracking) to ensure visibility and accountability
  • Translate publisher conversations into clear internal actions and drive cross-functional follow-through
  • Act as strategic advisor to publishers by translating performance data into clear, actional recommendations tied to revenue outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, and Marketplace teams to unlock new monetization capabilities and resolve blockers
  • Manage a portfolio of high-spend and high-potential supply partners by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and creating multi-quarter plans for achievement​
  • Leverage your analytical skills and knowledge of the programmatic marketplace to influence advertising strategy and execution towards “programmatic-first”​
  • Meet or exceed targets consistently, while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience to PubMatic’s customers​
  • Apply knowledge of SSP Mechanics, ad serving, and auction dynamics to diagnose issues and improve performance
  • Coach peers proactively in the organization to create skill lift that drives client growth and contributes to overall team success​

Who You Are:

  • At least 3-6 years prior applicable experience in a Customer Success role, Account Management, or similar client-facing role withing programmatic advertising (ideally at an SSP, Tech Platform or Publisher)​
  • Hands-on experience in programmatic, either on the Publisher, SSP, or DSP/buyer side
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and working with CTV and video monetization
  • Knowledge and experience with working for or with CTV and Video publishers in the programmatic space​
  • Video experience within programmatic is a bonus​
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into clear, revenue-driving actions
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) for performance analysis
  • Strong communication skills with experience influencing both technical and business stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in client-facing services role, such as consulting or customer success in relevant field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working across multiple sides of the ecosystem (publisher, SSP, DSP, or agency)
  • Experience working with identity, data signals or advanced targeting in CTV
  • Exposure to SPO, PG Scaling and supply side optimization strategies
  • Experience working with high growth clients. Proven success building relationships with and influencing the perspective of decision makers
  • Flexible, startup mindset with success in fast-paced, unstructured environments
  • Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven ability to build relationships with and influence senior decision makers
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Extremely proactive and biased towards taking action
  • Creative, independent problem solver, with proven ability to reason through a large, ambiguous problem
  • Strong process management and analytical skills, making it easy to juggle multiple client needs and projects
  • An engaged team player with strong interpersonal skills who contributes to a positive team culture

Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
