Client Services Campaign Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Client Services Campaign Manager to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot Private Marketplace (PMP) deals within PubMatic’s ecosystem. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, cross-functional collaboration, and deep knowledge of the AdTech landscape. You will work closely with global stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, performance optimization, and continuous innovation in PMP deal management. The ideal candidate combines strong operational expertise with data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled analytical proficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end PMP deal setup, execution, monitoring, and optimization within the PubMatic platform.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Customer Success, Engineering, and Ad Solutions to execute deals within defined SLAs.
  • Generate, analyze, and interpret performance reports to derive competitive insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Leverage PubMatic Analytics, AI-powered insights, and internal tools to proactively monitor deal health and troubleshoot underperforming campaigns.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify performance anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting playbooks, and escalation frameworks to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate updates across support and tracking systems such as Salesforce, JIRA, and internal workflow tools.
  • Utilize AI-driven automation tools and data visualization platforms to improve reporting efficiency, forecasting, and decision-making.

We’d Love for You to Have

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant Ad Operations experience in the digital display advertising industry.
  • Hands-on experience managing PMP deals within SSPs or similar programmatic platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the ad serving ecosystem including campaign lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with complex datasets to track performance trends, detect anomalies, and identify root causes.
  • Exposure to global client interactions and managing remote stakeholder communications.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered analytics, automation tools, and data-driven optimization techniques in digital advertising.
  • Experience in publisher or agency-side campaign optimization and performance reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of DCM, GAM, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges, and programmatic workflows.
  • Good understanding of Private Marketplaces (PMP) and programmatic deal structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Macros); working knowledge of MS Access, MS Project, SQL, and database tools.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis, reporting automation, and workflow optimization (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, AI-assisted reporting).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights and project plans clearly to cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • BCA/B.Tech/B.E./MCA graduation degree or equivalent from a well-known institute/university.
