Associate Programmatic Trading Specialist (Activate)

About the Role:

We're hiring an Associate Programmatic Trading Specialist to join our growing team in New York on a hybrid schedule. (3 days in office).

The successful candidate will have a unique ability to combine their programmatic trading knowledge, technical and creative thinking with strong communication skills.
The programmatic trading specialist is part of the Advertiser Solutions team, taking responsibility for advertisers' campaigns in the Activate platform. Activate is an end to end solution that puts buyers in control of their media buying strategy, while simultaneously driving more revenue to publishers. They help clients plan, set up, optimize, troubleshoot and measure their programmatic campaigns. They are also helping document processes and suggesting platform improvements, as Activate scales.

What You'll Do:

  • Own sizeable client budgets throughout the entire media buying lifecycle, from media planning, execution, optimization, reporting, analysis and insights
  • Drive repeatable, scalable client successes by leveraging your strong background and track record of achievements in programmatic media trading
  • Oversee quality of campaign set-up and ongoing performance against client objectives, ensuring client satisfaction is fully met
  • Treat client campaigns as your own- always looking for ways to optimize budgets and improve upon current tactics
  • Respond to client requests in a timely manner
  • Participate in client meetings as a subject matter expert
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of programmatic media plans/buys
  • Identify new opportunities or processes to work more efficiently both internally/externally

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of hands-on programmatic trading experience is a must
  • Applied knowledge of key industry partners for fraud, viewability, brand safety, data and similar
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Process-oriented with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize various requests and responsibilities.

Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.

$90,000$105,000 USD
