Senior Manager/Associate Director, Product Marketing (Sell-Side Gen AI & Audience Solutions)

We’re reimagining how publishers harness the power of generative AI to drive smarter decisions across analytics, reporting, monetization, and foundational capabilities like Ad Quality and Inventory Quality.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who wants to be at the forefront of AI innovation in ad tech. As a Senior Manager or Associate Director of Product Marketing for Sell-Side GenAI, you will shape the go-to-market strategy for a horizontal AI portfolio that spans multiple publisher product lines, helping to define a new category of AI-native capabilities in the industry, while also providing executional support for PubMatic’s fast-growing Curation business.

You’ll join at a pivotal time — PubMatic is bringing new AI-powered products and curation solutions to market at scale, and this role offers significant scope, ownership, and growth potential. You’ll partner with product, engineering, sales, and marketing leaders to craft compelling positioning, launch groundbreaking capabilities, and empower commercial teams to win with AI and Curation.

 

What You'll Do: 

  • Develop deep expertise in PubMatic’s AI-native products, our customers, the evolving market landscape, and competitive dynamics.
  • Translate PubMatic’s AI product vision into impactful go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and revenue growth across publisher verticals.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales/Customer Success teams to identify ideal customer profiles, buyer personas, and use cases for AI-driven solutions.
  • Create compelling positioning and messaging frameworks that differentiate PubMatic’s Sell-Side GenAI portfolio in the market.
  • Lead cross-functional product launches — from conception to growth phase — including campaign plans, sales enablement, and field training.
  • Develop scaled enablement strategies and high-impact collateral (presentations, battlecards, playbooks, case studies) to equip commercial teams globally.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Monetization, and Ad Quality product leaders to integrate AI storytelling across the broader PubMatic platform narrative.
  • Support Curation GTM initiatives by creating high-impact pitch decks, case studies, and sales collateral tailored to strategic curator opportunities.
  • Partner with commercial and marketing teams to prepare for Curation-focused events, panels, and client meetings, including messaging alignment, content creation, and speaker enablement.
  • Track product performance, adoption metrics, and customer success stories; translate insights into compelling marketing assets.
  • Serve as a thought leader internally and externally on AI in ad tech, helping to shape industry conversations and publisher engagement.

 

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in a fast-paced environment; 7–9+ years of total marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, publisher monetization, and/or analytics.
  • Previous AI product marketing or go-to-market experience is preferred but not required — a passion for AI and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value is essential.
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams to launch and grow products.
  • Experience developing positioning, messaging, and enablement for complex, technical products.
  • Proven track record of creative storytelling, compelling presentation development, and field readiness enablement.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment at all levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Compensation Disclosure

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
