Account Executive, Advertiser Solutions (Independent Agencies)
About the Role:
The Advertiser Solutions Account Executive is responsible for developing existing independent agency relationships within the PubMatic platform to fulfill their business needs by leveraging the PubMatic suite of buyer tools. Candidates should possess strong sales skills and have experience in managing existing clients.
The candidate should strive to exceed revenue targets through active selling, account management, program implementation and managing terms and expectations for new and existing clients.
The candidate would be required to effectively communicate at multiple levels from junior to top level executives, both internally and externally. Internally, the role requires close collaboration with the following groups: Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Publisher Account Management, local and global Ad Solutions team members and the global Product Management teams.
What You'll Do:
- Be an integral part of a high paced, hardworking, fun loving, global team
- Drive platform spend growth across Independent Agencies to meet and exceed goals
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and provide ongoing direct client management and entertainment.
- Work closely with agency partners, delivering exceptional customer service and proactive media packaging of publisher opportunities to drive revenue.
- Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing clients to maximize account potential.
- Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s technology and media solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition to drive business growth.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, maintaining strong relationships with internal teams including Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Publisher Account Management, Ad Solutions, and Product Management.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay ahead of industry trends.
Who You Are:
- Two to four plus years in sales or business development within digital advertising, particularly focused on building and nurturing new relationships. Relevant experience includes working with publishers, ad networks, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs, and ad agencies.
- Strong knowledge of programmatic buying and selling, including pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, and buying technologies.
- Proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to analyze data and drive business decisions.
- Skilled in crafting compelling presentations (PowerPoint) and negotiating effectively with clients.
- Flexible, start-up mindset with a track record of success in fast-paced environments.

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
