Director, Customer Success - Mobile App Publishers
About the Role:
The Associate Director, Customer Success - Mobile App is a key member of PubMatic’s Go-To-Market team and is responsible for driving the success of publisher engagements and mobile app monetization across the region. This role leads a team of Customer Success Managers and partners closely with Customer Success Operations Managers and executive leadership to define and execute the mobile app strategy. The candidate will play a critical role in client retention, revenue growth, strategic upsells, and forecasting.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a team of 3+ Customer Success Managers, providing coaching, development, and performance oversight
- Partner with executive leadership to define the Mobile App strategy and guide the team in executing against that strategy
- Drive strategic upsells of new programs to support additional revenue growth
- Establish and build relationships with mobile app publishers to support a healthy and growing PubMatic ecosystem in North America
- Maintain a deep understanding of all PubMatic mobile products and the product roadmap for the purposes of upselling and optimizing performance
- Work within a regional and global organizational structure, deploying resources effectively to achieve business objectives
- Deliver best-in-class customer service and consultative support for publisher strategy
- Own the forecasting and planning for the U.S. Mobile App business, including analysis of headwinds and tailwinds on a quarterly basis
- Track and analyze performance, including regular forecasting, to ensure accounts are exceeding sales plans
- Maintain active customer conversations through consistent engagement, demonstrating market knowledge and mobile programmatic expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Ad Solutions, to align on account growth opportunities
- Partner with the Ad Solutions team to drive successful pairing of buyer campaigns to mobile app inventory
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a Customer Success role, focusing on supply-side mobile app publisher relationship management, identity solutions, and programmatic
- Experience managing and growing a customer-facing team
- Familiarity with mobile app monetization strategies, SDKs, mediation, and in-app bidding technologies
- Demonstrated success in upselling and strategic growth of existing accounts
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven mindset
- Proven success in forecasting and revenue planning in a bottoms-up manner
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

In accordance with applicable law, the below salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the total compensation for this role. New hires and current team members are typically compensated toward the middle of our pay range. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units, and a competitive benefits package.
